Random updates…

Thanks for the lovely comments lately :) Here is what has been keeping me busy:

Hubs didn’t end up buying an armchair.

He choose to wait until I visited him last week and we had planned to choose a new sofa together.

I found a mid-century mod sofa for sale in my little town and bought that instead.

Now just need to move it to Sydney along with our other furniture, lol.

Hubs DID get to buy a hulking new TV. I reined in his enthusiasm just a little though. You know guys and their TV’s ;)

My camera is broken and I can’t get it to take pics of the little craft project I wanted to share. Bummer. Trying to remedy that asap.

It is raining cats and dogs (and more cats) here atm – started with a thunder storm around 1am and has not really let up. Very glad my mum caught up all my washing while she stayed here last week with the girls while I went to Sydney to get some jobs done with hubs.

Miss I won tickets to see the Crows (AFL Football) this weekend. Unplanned trip to Adelaide coming up! I am taking her and 2 of her 6yo friends. Will be interesting ;)

A pretty pic to finish on:

I am so going for some folk-inspired cushions on my new sofa :)

Sounds like things are going along ok for you.

GO CROWS! (ex South Aussie finding that being an Adelaide supporter in Melbourne can be very lonely indeed!)

You've been busy. Glad your husband waited for your input when it came to living room seating - phew, could have been a close call lol.

Cheers,

lol, yes Lisa I was very concerned. He is still eying off a recliner though - fingers crossed! haha
Kath - I wondered if you still went for the Crows! My daughter actually asked if it would be ok for her to change to the Swans once we move to Sydney (lol), she was a bit worried about it ;)

What a lovely chair! Does that resemble the chair you bought? Enjoy the wonderful day, Kellie xx
