No rest for the wicked

So, back in freezing SA… the pine pollen is flowing, the frost is glowing..I think I am losing it (too late!).

House is half unpacked, but a ridiculous amount of boxes remain. Do I really have this much crap? Don’t even mention the garage that didn’t get emptied when we moved in the first place.

Desperately would love to spend a whole weekend in bed. Don’t even expect a coffee or breakfast…just time to lie about and watch the sun try to creep through the curtains and recharge the batteries, you know??

For sale: retro sofa

Hi all!

Wow, what a few weeks we have had!

So, we are moving back to SA….I know, I know, I only just got to Sydney. More on that later! Anyway, I have decided to sell this great retro sofa that I picked up from its original owners. I have posted on Gumtree, but if you or anyone you know may be interested, here are the details:

Retro sofa in great condition. Original brown woolen upholstery with no tears, stains or holes. Removable covers. Timber frame in good condition, some marks on right arm (light sanding and oil would fix it, I just ran out of time, lol). Base was re-strapped by original owners, back retains original wooden slats. Great shape to arms and a generous length, comfortably seating 3-4 adults. I would love it to go to a good home, sob! Only $200 as we need it gone asap.

 

 

 

 

I had plans for this baby, so hope someone else can make it their own! I’ve seen them go for lots more on ebay, but don’t have time to wait for auction.
