Today feels like the day-between.
Between moving and trying to enjoy Easter-Anzac weekend, and the start of a new school and trying to figure out the horrid NSW preschool system (you really get ripped off here as far as not having government funded preschool available for every child. I had no idea).
Miss I has been alternating between bouncing off the walls with nervous energy (no, it started before the chocolate onslaught) and subsiding into tears and tantrums (not her usual MO). Miss T has been sleeping horribly (after 2 months of excellent sleeping, it is coming as a bit of shock to my system, lol).
I am struggling to get the last few house things that made the move into an order I can feel happy with. We are missing a dining table and credenza, so I probably should not have bothered dragging along my beloved tea wares and silver, lol. Oh well. Good things come to those who…whatever.
Craving some sunshine on this overcast wet day in Sydney, so some pics to cheer me up :

The last pic has a very similar wall colour to what we have in our new rental (no-paint policy). I am trying to think of a colour scheme I can put with it without having to buy a whole new décor.
Hope you are all having a nice end to the long weekend. It is nice to be back blogging :)

Hi Romana I've been wondering how it was all going. I knew you were going to be there by easter. How exciting. I had no idea they didn't have government funded preschool there either.
Hope the girls settle soon. Patience and love. They'll get there. It's understandable, moving is unsettling enough for adults hey?
Are all the walls done in the same colour in your rental?
Are you pretty happy with your place?
I think the white they have on the walls looks good with that colour, however it lends itself very well to darker wood too. I think you've got a few different options.
I saw a room with similar colours - I have the picture from a magazine, but no scanner. It had white tiles on the floor, but the furniture was a mix of creams/whites, and warm wood grain. Another one had white trim, and dark brown almost black furniture. The thing that gave both of the rooms a great feel was the use of palms, and other details which gave the rooms a relaxed, spa kind of feel.
Looking forward to hearing more. Oh and btw, were you watching the Circle today?

yes! I caught that bit on the Circle! And I am now following Jane's blog :) I loved her house in RL, so am looking forward to what she shares on her blog, good luck to her. What about you?? What do you think?
